The long term performance of the the product is to a high degree dependent of the quality of the raw material used and Pacific has initiated a development program with reputable raw material manufacturers to even further improve the quality and suitability for GRP pipe production. Each batch of incoming raw material goes through extensive testing before it is released to the production department for use in the production.
The process control during manufacturing is a very important point for the long term performance of the GRP pipes. The machine park at Pacific is supplied by the most reputable manufacturers in this field and to some extent also improved by Pacific's technical department based on the experience obtained during the use of the machinery in production.
All manufactured products goes through extensive product testing before they are signed off for delivery to customers
The long term testing results required for GRP pipes by the standards have been obtained. These includes HDB, Strain corrosion, Sb and long term specific ring stiffness as per ISO 10468.
